Solved: Slow download speeds with E1200 - Linksys Community i had the same issue with the e1200. slow speeds. i called cisco and found that 2.0.02 is an old version. did the G setting and got faster speeds. however, it is an N router so you shouldn't have to use it as a G. so this is what i did to fix the slow N connection. make sure you are making these changes while hardwired. if your wireless you are going to be knocked off once router starts resetting.
